Lace up for a morning of movement and meaning as the Skechers Friendship Walk returns for its eighth edition on 31 August 2025 (Sunday). Organised by Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company™ and a global leader in lifestyle and performance footwear, this much-anticipated walk-and-run event is expected to welcome over 5,000 participants to Marina Barrage for a scenic celebration of fitness, friendship, and community impact.

A perfect event for fitness lovers, friends and families across generations, the Skechers Friendship Walk continues to make every step count, with $2 donated to APSN for every sign-up to support individuals with mild intellectual disabilities. ASPN is a social agency that provides special education, vocational training, and employment support. Additionally, participants will also stand a chance to win a year’s free supply of Skechers footwear, along with other prizes in a lucky draw.

Participants can choose their pace and style with two exciting categories: the 5KM Leisure Walk, perfect for bonding and having fun, or the 10KM Competitive Run for those ready to push their limits and race towards victory.

Designed for avid runners, competitive athletes, and everyone in between, the 10KM Competitive Individual Run follows an exhilarating route that starts at Marina Barrage and winds through iconic landmarks such as Gardens by the Bay East and the Singapore Sports Hub. Participants will run along scenic waterfront paths, pass the Tanjong Rhu Promenade, and loop back via East Coast Parkway (ECP) before finishing strong near the Marina Barrage.

Perfect for anyone looking to meet new people or share special moments with friends and family, this category offers flexible options: Individual (1 pax), Buddy (2 pax), and Family (2 adults + 1 child). The 5KM route covers several landmarks, including Flower Dome and Red Dot Design Museum, where participants can stroll at their own pace, soak in the scenery, snap memorable photos, and create lasting memories with loved ones.
