Sports: Lazada Run 2025 Turns Marina Barrage into a High-Energy Playground of Fitness, Shopping and Style

The energy was sky-high this morning as Lazada Run 2025 made its highly anticipated stop in Singapore, transforming Marina Barrage into a vibrant hub of movement, community and celebration. Organised by local event design house Infinitus Productions, the event returned for its second year, marking Lazada’s largest Singapore turnout yet.

Flagging off at Kallang, over 8,000 participants from all walks of life took part in four race categories: the 5KM Fun Run, 10KM, 21.1KM, and for the first time in Singapore, the Lazada x POP MART 5KM, a whimsical, character-themed run that brought a new layer of creativity and charm to the event. 

Seasoned pacers from the Running Department led the way for the 10KM and 21.1KM competitive categories, helping participants of all levels stay motivated and on track for their personal bests.

In the competitive segments, runners raced toward the finish line to the cheers of an energetic crowd. Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Mayor, South West District, graced the event as the Guest of Honour, presenting top runners of the 10KM race segment with cash prizes of up to S$1,000.

The 5km Fun Run participants enjoyed an interactive Voucher Snatch activity along the race route, a lively, fitness-themed challenge aligned with Lazada’s vision to inject fun and movement into everyday life. Participants dashed, reached, and laughed their way to exciting brand voucher prizes, making it an engaging highlight for runners of all ages.

Past the finish line, the fun continued at the Post-Race Shopping Village at Marina Barrage. Runners and supporters explored an exciting line-up of booths from popular brands such as Huawei, Yeo’s, Brooks and Sunpride featuring exclusive event-day deals, samples, and giveaways. 

The POP MART booth drew long lines and plenty of excitement, showcased amazing merchandise, exciting giveaways, and photo ops that delighted fans and collectors alike. One of the highlights was the vibrant and hugely popular IP Twinkle Twinkle, which decorated the entire booth and drew enthusiastic attention, adding even more energy and charm to the event.

The Cart Dash was another standout crowd-pleaser. Participants went head-to-head in a supermarket sweep-style challenge, racing against the clock to grab the right items off their checklists. Laughter, cheering and adrenaline filled the air as the fastest dashers walked away with bragging rights and exciting rewards!

Adding a splash of flair and personality to the event was the POP MART Best Dressed Contest, where participants turned heads with bold, creative, and character-inspired outfits. The crowd brought their A-game, showing off playful interpretations of their favourite POP MART figures in a fun and spirited showcase. The winners walked away with exclusive POP MART collectables, proving once again that at Lazada Run, self-expression and style cross the finish line too.

The Singapore leg is just one exciting chapter in Lazada’s regional run series. Next up, Infinitus Productions will take Lazada Run to Selangor, Malaysia, on Sunday, 12 October 2025, where the energy, community spirit and retail-meets-fitness experience will continue in full stride.  Each city brings its own unique flair to the movement, reinforcing Lazada Run as a celebration of running, retail, and real-life connections across Southeast Asia.
