CQ @ Clarke Quay is ready to bring the future to you in style, as they transform the iconic Singapore River into a dazzling playground of art, music and immersive experiences this New Year’s Eve. Presented by CQ and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board as part of ONE Countdown 2026, The Next Stage: New Age promises to be the only countdown celebration along the Singapore River, and one that’s unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Taking place on 31 December 2025, this free-entry event invites revellers to step into a glowing, futuristic world where neon lights, pulsating beats and larger-than-life installations come together for an unforgettable midnight moment.

Designed as a journey through four distinct themed “biomes”, CQ @ Clarke Quay will be fully transformed from 30 to 31 December, starting from 12pm till late. Each zone offers a different sensory experience, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace before gathering for the grand countdown.

Central Command (Fountain Square) is the heart of the celebration. Featuring a planetarium-inspired stage, striking neon visuals and high-energy music, this is where the excitement builds toward the midnight countdown. As the beats intensify and the visuals crescendo, the new year will be ushered in with a spectacular, high-impact moment.

For fans of edgy aesthetics, Neon Nexus (Block D, near BBQ Box) channels cyberpunk vibes with glowing grid lines and futuristic art installations — the perfect backdrop for standout photos and late-night selfies.

Those seeking a dreamier escape can head to Hydronexus (Block C, near K STAR), an immersive underwater-inspired realm where luminescent water effects, drifting sounds and glowing sea creature lanterns create a calming yet mesmerising atmosphere.

Rounding off the experience is Zenterra (Block A, near OverScoop), an interactive forest where nature meets the future. Designed by local artist Dawn Koh, this space features LED flower structures, softly-lit mushroom seats and glowing roots that lead to a towering neon tree installation. It’s an ideal spot to take a breather from the festivities — or simply soak in the artistry.

One of CQ @ Clarke Quay’s most anticipated highlights is back. After captivating crowds since its debut in 2024, the spectacular drone show returns this New Year’s Eve at Read Bridge, enhancing the charm of the Singapore River skyline. The show unfolds as a five-act “cyberspace journey”, with hundreds of drones lighting up the night sky to tell a visually stunning story. To build excitement ahead of midnight, two drone shows are scheduled at 9pm and 11pm on 31 December 2025, offering multiple chances to catch the magic. (Note: Drone shows are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled without prior notice.)

Beyond the installations and performances, CQ @ Clarke Quay remains one of Singapore’s top nightlife destinations, and New Year’s Eve is no exception. Revellers can enjoy a wide array of restaurants, bars and clubs, many of which will be offering exclusive festive deals, special menus and countdown parties throughout the night. To make getting home easier, celebrants can take advantage of the free CQ Night Shuttle service, specially operating from Wednesday, 31 December 2025, to Thursday, 1 January 2026. In addition to its regular weekend schedule, the shuttle includes:

• A loop service connecting Orchard Road to City Hall
• One-way services to Tampines MRT and Jurong East MRT
