The Gundam Base Singapore, the country’s first-ever official Gundam flagship store, is officially open on 3rd February, giving local fans a long-awaited space to immerse themselves in all things Gundam.

Located on Level 4 of Jewel, the store marks a major milestone for Singapore’s Gundam community, bringing Bandai Namco’s globally recognised Gundam Base retail concept closer to home. More than just a shop, it’s designed as an experience, one that celebrates the artistry, creativity and culture behind the iconic mecha franchise.

From the moment you arrive, it’s clear this isn’t a typical retail space. A 1.8-metre RX-78 Gundam statue, finished in exclusive Gundam Base colours, stands guard at the entrance: an instant photo magnet for fans and curious passersby alike. Inside, themed displays showcase Gundam model kits (better known as Gunpla), while interactive zones invite visitors to slow down, explore, and geek out properly.

There’s even a photo booth featuring a giant blueprint of the RX-78-2 Gundam, letting fans snap a keepsake that feels straight out of a design lab.

One of the store’s most welcoming features is its dedicated Gunpla workshop area, created especially for newcomers. On weekends, free model-building sessions will be open to the public, with families encouraged to turn it into a hands-on bonding activity.

It’s part of Bandai Namco’s broader mission to make Gunpla accessible to everyone, whether you’re a seasoned builder chasing Perfect Grades or someone who’s never touched a hobby nipper before.

For serious fans, this is where things get exciting. The Gundam Base Singapore is the only store in Singapore that carries official Gundam Base limited-edition Gunpla, making it a must-visit for collectors.

At launch, the store will stock a full spectrum of Gunpla grades — from Entry Grade and SD, all the way up to High Grade (HG), Real Grade (RG), Master Grade (MG), and Perfect Grade (PG). Among the highlights are several sought-after limited editions, including:
