Basketball and K-pop are set to collide in Singapore this June as fast-rising Korean boy group LNGSHOT takes center stage at the NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026.
The four-member act—Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis—will headline the final day of the youth basketball tournament on June 28 at the OCBC Arena in Singapore Sports Hub, bringing their signature energy to an event that celebrates the next generation of athletes from across the Asia-Pacific region.
More than just a performance, LNGSHOT’s appearance will include fan interactions, time with tournament participants, and a community outreach activity presented by the Karim Family Foundation. It’s a fitting partnership for a group whose name and message revolve around confidence, ambition and taking chances.
“We’re excited to be part of the NBA Rising Stars Invitational and connect with young athletes and fans from across the region,” the group shared in a statement. “The idea behind LNGSHOT has always been about taking your shot, believing in yourself, and pushing beyond expectations.”
Since debuting earlier this year under MORE VISION with SHOT CALLERS, LNGSHOT has quickly become one of K-pop’s most talked-about new acts. The group has amassed more than five million monthly Spotify listeners, generated over 240 million cumulative streams, and built a rapidly growing international fanbase. Their breakout track, Moonwalkin’, has surpassed 42 million YouTube views, cementing their status as one of 2026’s breakout stars.
For the NBA, the collaboration reflects the growing cultural overlap between sport and music. “Both embody energy, authenticity, and the power to inspire and connect across cultures,” said Ed Winkle, NBA Asia’s Senior Vice President for Growth and Innovation.
Running from June 23 to 28, the NBA Rising Stars Invitational will bring together 24 boys’ and girls’ teams from across the region, showcasing some of Asia-Pacific’s brightest young basketball talent. While the competition promises high-intensity action on court, LNGSHOT’s appearance adds a lifestyle and entertainment dimension that is expected to draw fans well beyond the basketball community.
Whether you’re there for the buzzer-beaters or the K-pop spectacle, June 28 is shaping up to be one of the tournament’s most anticipated moments.
