From adventure attractions to a festival of quests, games and shared experiences, a new partnership is giving youths more reasons to put their phones aside, meet up and make memories together.
Making plans with friends has never been easier. A message in the group chat, a quick exchange of ideas and a flurry of emojis can make a get-together seem just around the corner. Yet turning those intentions into actual time spent together can be another story altogether.
Between busy schedules, competing commitments and the convenience of staying connected online, meaningful face-to-face interactions can sometimes take a back seat. For young people especially, the desire to build closer relationships remains, even as the ways they communicate continue to evolve.
It is this gap between wanting to connect and actually showing up that Klook and youth community For Real Co. hope to address through a new partnership designed to make Singapore a playground for connection.
The collaboration brings together Klook’s experiences platform and For Real Co.’s mission to help young people build stronger relationships through shared activities, honest conversations and meaningful time together. From participating attractions across Singapore to a festival filled with interactive experiences, the initiative encourages youths to turn their plans into something tangible.
“At Klook, we believe meaningful connections are at the heart of great experiences. Through our partnership with For Real Co., we hope to bridge the gap between wanting to connect and making it happen, creating more opportunities for youths to come together, explore new experiences and build stronger connections with their community,” said Jeanette Ong, Associate Marketing Director, Klook Singapore.
For Real Co. was founded on a simple observation: being constantly connected does not always mean feeling close to others. The community seeks to turn that realisation into action by creating opportunities for young people to spend time together, engage in honest conversations and develop relationships beyond their screens.
“For Real Co. came together because we saw that even though we’re always online, we still feel disconnected with one another, and we wanted to change that. That’s why we’re so excited to partner Klook, where they have so many unique activities on their platform. This provides youths like ourselves many opportunities to have fun and show up across Singapore, for real.” said Tanisha Kaur, For Real Co. youth.
The partnership taps into the idea that friendships often grow through shared experiences. Trying something new together, navigating a challenge or simply having an unhurried afternoon with friends can create opportunities for conversations and memories that do not always emerge through digital exchanges.
Rather than prescribing what meaningful connection should look like, the initiative offers young people more ways to make it happen — whether through an energetic group activity, a playful outing or an evening spent discovering something new together.
As part of the collaboration, Klook x For Real Co. Show Up! Hotspots will appear at participating venues around Singapore, including SuperPark Singapore, Skyslides by Klook, Skyline Luge and Museum of Ice Cream.
The idea is to turn familiar leisure destinations into meeting points for friends looking to spend quality time together. Instead of another round of messages about where to go, these hotspots offer tangible suggestions for getting out of the house and doing something together.
For groups who enjoy active adventures, attractions such as SuperPark Singapore and Skyline Luge provide opportunities to share the excitement of trying something together. Meanwhile, Museum of Ice Cream offers a more playful setting for friends to explore, take photographs and enjoy a change of scenery.
The range of venues also makes the concept accessible to different kinds of friendships and interests. Some groups may prefer an activity that gets everyone moving, while others might be looking for something light-hearted and easy to enjoy together.
Ultimately, the goal is to make meeting up feel less like another item on a to-do list and more like something worth looking forward to.
The partnership will also support For Real Fest 2026, whose theme, Show Up, encourages young people to be present physically, emotionally and for one another.
Taking place at Mandai Wildlife Reserve on 7 November 2026, from 6pm to 11.30pm, the festival will transform the venue into a playground of quests and experiences designed for attendees to explore together.
Rather than simply moving from one performance or activity to the next, participants will be invited to take part in quests and unlock new experiences throughout the night. The format encourages them to engage with the festival alongside their friends, making the shared experience part of the attraction.
Among the featured experiences are access to Ideas Playground at Exploria and a sober rave at Curiosity Cove, offering different ways to participate in the evening. The programme combines playful exploration with opportunities for young people to gather in a setting designed around community and interaction.
Tickets are available exclusively through Klook, priced at S$15 plus a S$2 booking fee. Each ticket includes an exclusive capybara ice cream and For Real Co. merchandise, adding a playful touch to the festival experience.
For friends who have been meaning to organise a night out, the festival offers a ready-made plan with activities to discover together. For those arriving with an open mind, it provides a chance to meet others and take part in a wider community experience.
The appeal of the Klook and For Real Co. partnership lies in its recognition that connection does not always require an elaborate plan. Sometimes, it starts with a simple invitation, a willingness to try something different or the decision to spend an evening with friends rather than postponing the meet-up again.
By bringing together experiences across Singapore and a festival dedicated to the idea of showing up, the collaboration gives young people more opportunities to turn intention into action.
It is also a reminder that the best part of an outing may not necessarily be the attraction itself. It could be the unexpected conversation on the way there, the shared laughter over a challenge or the memory that becomes an inside joke long after the day is over.
In a world where staying in touch is only a message away, making time for one another remains an active choice. Through Show Up! Hotspots and For Real Fest, Klook and For Real Co. are encouraging young Singaporeans to make that choice — to step out, experience more together and give their relationships room to grow.
Because sometimes, getting closer begins with something as simple as showing up.
