It’s always buzzing in Bishan, and it’s about to get extra busy with the opening of Shake Shack Singapore’s ninth restaurant at the iconic Junction 8. In line with Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, Shake Shack has partnered with Singaporean artist Aeropalmics to design a mural inspired by high energy of the Bishan neighbourhood.
Starting today, guests who pop by Shake Shack Junction 8 can get a first look at the commissioned mural by Aeropalmics. Her bright and punchy artwork utilizes friendly shapes and colors that highlight positivity, connections, and youth.
Tubes of all shapes and sizes are intertwined across the piece, and following them leads the eye to enter and exit areas in the piece to suggest movement, junctions, and exploration. Recognizable Shack icons blend into the piece, sporting similar colours and curves that are synonymous with the mall and also celebrate the love of movement—representing the hive of activity within beloved Bishan—which together creates a space reflective of its community.
Shake Shack’s ninth outlet will be located at Junction 8, 9 Bishan Place, #01-51. Junction 8 is easily accessible via numerous public transport routes, including several bus stops and a direct link from Bishan MRT Station. More information available here
