Afternoon tea is often perceived as an indulgent affair, commanding images of feasting luxuriously. Madison’s at Pullman Singapore Hill Street has redefined what afternoon tea means, introducing an element of artistic appreciation for guests to savour beyond just the culinary. In keeping with Pullman Singapore Hill Street’s design-led and forward-thinking approach to hospitality, Madison’s has launched the brand new ‘Artistry in Time Afternoon Tea,’ in an exclusive collaboration with the Alphonse Mucha Museum. Pullman Singapore Hill Street invites guests to experience the works of renowned Art Nouveau icon, Alphonse Mucha, while reconnecting with their loved ones over exquisite teas and treats at Madison’s, an all-day dining destination that pays homage to New York City’s iconic deli culture.
Available from now till 14 September 2024, the afternoon tea menu showcases the distinctive style of Mucha, known for his theatrical posters featuring botanical motifs and stylised lines. Known for his contemporary style, Mucha’s artworks have been incorporated into the offerings at Madison’s, encapsulating the essence of Mucha’s iconic style and rich symbolism. These include macarons depicting Mucha’s signature patterns, cakes embellished with Mucha-inspired buntings, as well as thematic bespoke cocktails – the bracing, spirit-forward Mucha Vesper, and the crisp, tart Parisian Gimlet – available at S$24++.
Savoury courses include the Lobster—served with Avruga caviar, XO hae bee hiam (dry shrimp chilli) and hollandaise—and the Norwegian Salmon Tartare, accompanied by ikura in a kuih pie tee shell. For sweet courses, the Raspberry Financier lends a unique tartness to the classic cake, while guests can enjoy buttery goodness with a slight kick in the Black Pepper Cookies.
Available for an exclusive period from 14 May to 31 July 2024, the Artistry in Time Afternoon Tea is priced at S$68++ per guest, with a minimum of 2 persons per set. For more information, please visit the Pullman Singapore Hill Street website. Reservations can be made here.
