Established in London, Murger Han has gained recognition as a go-to destination for authentic Xi’an cuisine. Now, Singaporeans will finally get a chance to try it a little closer to home, with the grand opening of its first location in Asia.

Coming out of its soft launch in December 2024, the new restaurant at 61 Robinson Road promises to bring Singapore diners a taste of Xi’an’s rich culinary heritage, blending bold flavours with time-honoured traditions. Located in the heart of the Central Business District, Murger Han at Robinson Road is designed to offer a modern yet cozy dining experience. The venue’s interior blends traditional Chinese elements with contemporary aesthetics, reflecting the harmonious balance between old and new that defines Xi’an cuisine. 

Renowned for its biang biang noodles, murgers (Xi’an-style flatbread stuffed with savoury fillings), and other classic dishes, Murger Han has garnered a loyal following for its commitment to authenticity and quality. The Singapore location will feature a menu that stays true to the original recipes, with ingredients sourced locally and internationally to ensure the highest standards.

Founder Bin Li expressed excitement about the restaurant’s expansion into Singapore, stating, “We are honoured to bring Murger Han to Asia, where the love for authentic Chinese cuisine is thriving. Singapore, with its vibrant food culture, is the perfect place to introduce the iconic flavours of Xi’an.”

Murger Han’s menu is a celebration of Xi’an’s bold and authentic flavours, featuring a selection of signature dishes crafted to satisfy diverse palates. Highlights include their Signature Murgers, with options of both their classic flatbread and crusty bread, where customers can select from 3 fillings: pork, lean pork, and spicy cumin chicken. Favourites include the Classic Pork Murger a basic Xi’An staple with juicy, savoury pork encased in warm handmade flatbread, as well as the Crusty Cumin Chicken Murger, a masterful combination of spiced chicken and flaky bread.

Murger Han is also renowned for their Hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles, which you can customise with your favourite toppings when you order their 3-in-1 or 5-in-1 Noodles. Select from braised pork, shredded pork, cumin chicken, or their specialty braised beef. Alternatively, go back to basics with the Spring Onion and Chilli Oil noodles, Tomato and Egg sauce noodles, Noodles with Braised Pork and Vegetables or the Specialty Braised Beef Noodles. 

Finally, Murger Han also offers up nourishing soups for the soul, with the Xi’An signature Beef/Lamb Soup with Tofu, Vermicelli and Vegetables – a hearty clear soup that complements their chilli oil and fills the stomach. Alternatively, get a spice kick with the Noodle with Braised Pork and Vegetables in Spicy and Sour Soup.
