For the first time in Singapore’s brewing history, eight of the nation’s leading independent craft breweries have joined forces to create a single beer — a collaboration as bold as the race that inspired it. Timed with the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), the city-wide celebration surrounding the Formula 1 night race, the result is Beyond the Circuit, a limited-edition jasmine-rice tropical lager that’s equal parts refreshing and symbolic.
The brewing alliance brings together some of the biggest names in Singapore’s craft scene: LeVeL33, Lion Brewery Co, Little Island Brewing Co, RedDot Brewhouse, Ren Min, SevenDaze Brewery, The 1925 Brewing Co, and Brewerkz — with Brewerkz serving as the brewing anchor.
“Locked out of the circuit, we decided to take the race to the streets. ‘Beyond the Circuit’ is our way of celebrating the season with a beer that’s brewed the local way — fast, fresh, and full of flavour,” said Mitch Gribov, the Head Brewer of Brewerkz, the project’s brewing anchor.
This collaboration goes beyond brewing. It’s a showcase of unity, creativity, and local pride — proof that Singapore’s craft beer scene is stepping into the global spotlight.
The Grand Prix may bring the world to Singapore, but Beyond the Circuit brings Singapore to the world. For visitors, the lager offers a distinctive introduction to the country’s vibrant and fast-growing craft scene. For locals, it represents how far the community has come — independent, homegrown, and now globally relevant.
“I enjoyed getting together and having a common project the most, regardless of what beer style we choose to brew. It was great to be able to catch up with everyone at once,” said LeVeL33’s brewmaster Gabriel Garcia.
Brewing one beer across eight distinct breweries was no easy feat, but the collective landed on a recipe that everyone proudly stands behind: a crisp lager brewed with jasmine rice for smooth drinkability, layered with tropical hops for an aromatic lift.
Expect a burst of passionfruit purée, lime-zest spray, and pine-forest breeze on the nose, followed by a jasmine-rice crispness and juicy citrus flavours that finish clean and dry. Designed for Singapore’s tropical climate and the high-octane buzz of race week, it’s approachable yet exciting — much like the city itself.

The beer officially launches on 23 September at Brewerkz One Fullerton, with broader availability beginning 26 September across all eight brewery taprooms and restaurants. Each pint and can will be available while stocks last.
- Launch: 23 September, Brewerkz One Fullerton
- Retail: September–October 2025 across partner taprooms and outlets
- Price: S$6.90+ per can, S$16–17++ per pint (venue dependent)
In addition to the collaborative brew, Brewerkz outlets will feature beers from each of the seven partner breweries, while individual breweries will host tap takeovers, parties, and curated events to showcase the release. At LeVeL33, for instance, guests can enjoy exclusive pours alongside skyline dining and panoramic views of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
As Singapore gears up for the world’s most glamorous night race, Beyond the Circuit offers fans and locals alike a new way to celebrate — a beer that goes above the ordinary. More than just a limited-edition brew, it’s a milestone for Singapore’s craft beer movement, proving that when independent breweries unite, the results are worth raising a glass to.
