HONG KONG – Raise a glass; this October, Hong Kong and Macau will become the epicentre of global cocktail culture as The Foundry Asia celebrates its second anniversary with The Best of All Worlds, a week-long, citywide takeover that promises to be nothing short of legendary.
For six days, from October 4 to 9, the region will be drenched in the energy of the world’s most imaginative bars and bartenders, all converging here in sync with The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025. Think of it as the hospitality equivalent of fashion week: dazzling, unmissable, and destined to be talked about long after the final glass is raised.

At the heart of the revelry is a one-night-only spectacle on October 7 at Mostly Harmless, where three of the world’s most exciting bars collide: Macau’s Wing Lei Bar, Bengaluru’s ZLB23, and Florence’s Locale Firenze. This is essentially a global passport in cocktail form. Expect Rajib Mukherjee’s precision-driven Kyoto-style speakeasy magic from ZLB23, Mark Lloyd’s UNITY menu born from collaborations across continents, and the Tuscan soulfulness of Alessandro Mengoni and Fabio Fanni, infused with a modern, sustainable edge. To keep everyone fuelled, a Lee Kum Kee noodle bar will be serving complimentary bowls on the side, because great cocktails deserve great snacks.

But before and after this headline act, the week is packed with firepower. Macau gets the first hit of adrenaline with Macau Meets Mexico at Wing Lei Bar, where Tijuana’s Aruba Day Drink and Mexico City’s Las Brujas promise a sensory explosion of colour, music, and mysticism. In Sheung Wan, Call Me AL launches its epic run of events with 50 Best Signature Sessions—a gathering of bartenders pushing culture and community forward.

From there, it’s a whirlwind. Paris’s Le Syndicat joins forces with Lisbon’s Red Frog for a Euro-powered takeover at Quinary. Denver’s Yacht Club shows Hong Kong how to party Colorado-style (hot dogs included). Tastings Group throws a Dim Sum Party at the legendary Lin Heung Lau, blending heritage and cocktails in true Hong Kong fashion. New York’s Double Chicken Please brings its “liquid meals” to The Opposites, while Cartagena’s Alquímico and São Paulo’s Clemente bring Latin heat to Central.

The energy keeps building: Ho Lee Fook lights up with Hope & Sesame and Wing Lei Bar for a dinner-into-dancefloor night that could easily turn into your favourite memory of the year. Artifact transforms itself into ATLAS’s gilded world of gin, then hands the stage to Moonrock from Tainan for a night of celestial romance. YUME breaks in the city’s party scene with the sleek launch of Solisca Tequila, scored by Arthur Bray and YETI OUT. And Montreal’s Foiegwa and Atwater Cocktail Club sweep into Call Me AL for foie gras cheeseburgers and cocktails by the unstoppable Kate Boushel.

By midweek, the star power is blinding. Like Minded Creatures—a dream-team collective of Alex Kratena, Matt Whiley, and Luke Whearty—take over The Opposites. Nairobi’s Hero Bar and Stockholm’s Röda Huset bring sun-drenched punch and Nordic precision to Quinary. Joseph Haywood of Singapore’s Warehouse Lobby Bar infuses LALA with Southeast Asian spirit, while Oslo’s Himkok teams up with Bangkok’s Messenger Service for aquavit, playfulness, and pure invention.

And if you think the finale will let you catch your breath, think again. Barcelona’s Foco storms into Artifact with its industrial-chic storytelling and freewheeling, conversation-starting cocktails. Meanwhile, Call Me AL goes full throttle with SIDE VIBE, a pizza-and-espresso-martini blowout with Brooklyn’s Bar Madonna, Singapore’s Puffy Bois, and the mischief-makers at Cat Bite Club. Picture hot slices, cold martinis, and a dance floor that won’t quit until the sun comes up.
This is a festival AND a love letter to global hospitality, a kaleidoscope of flavours, friendships, and the kind of nights you’ll be telling stories about for years. For one extraordinary week, Hong Kong and Macau won’t just host the world’s best bars: they’ll become the world’s best party.
The Best of All Worlds runs from 4th to 9th October 2025 across Hong Kong. More information available here
