From 12 November to 12 December 2025, The Lobby Lounge at Regent Hong Kong becomes the most unexpected dining destination in the city: where caviar meets crinkle-cut fries and burgers flirt with bubbles of Dom Pérignon.
The star of this indulgent affair is the Foie Gras Shack, a gloriously over-the-top rendition of Shake Shack’s beloved ShackBurger®. Think: a perfectly seared 100% Angus beef patty, creamy Gruyère, a luscious slab of foie gras torchon, caramelised onions, black truffle mayo, crispy onions, frisée, and chives, all nestled in that iconic potato bun. If that sounds like the burger of your dreams, you’re not wrong. And yes, there’s a double-patty version for those who believe moderation is overrated.
Even the humble fry gets its glow-up. The Shack Caviar Fries: golden, crisp, and crowned with crème fraîche bavarois, chives, and caviar, are what happens when fast food takes a stroll down Fifth Avenue and checks into a suite with a harbour view.
Set against the sweeping panorama of Victoria Harbour, Regent’s Lobby Lounge is pure cinematic indulgence. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the skyline like a film still, while the mood strikes the perfect balance between elegant and effortlessly cool. No dress code drama here, just the satisfying clink of champagne flutes, the scent of truffle in the air, and the comforting crunch of fries that cost more than your lunch budget (and are worth every cent).
Because no Tatler-worthy meal is complete without bubbles, the hotel is pouring Dom Pérignon White Luminous Vintage 2015, the one with the glowing label that turns any table into a celebration. Available by the glass or bottle, it’s the ideal match for a foie gras-topped burger and the kind of conversation that goes long into the night.
