As Lunar New Year approaches, there’s a familiar longing for warmth, ritual and time spent around the table with loved ones. This season, 5 ON 25 at Andaz Singapore invites families and friends to gather over Handcrafted Reunions: a celebratory dining experience inspired by the vitality and forward momentum of the Year of the Horse.
From 2 February to 3 March 2026, the Cantonese restaurant sets the stage for refined festive dining, where thoughtful craftsmanship and elegant flavours take centre stage. Under the guidance of Head Chinese Chef Lim Hong Lih, each menu is designed to honour tradition while embracing a modern sense of abundance, balance and togetherness.

No Lunar New Year feast is complete without Yu Sheng, and 5 ON 25’s Signature version is a celebration in itself. Sustainably sourced cured Petuna ocean trout brings buttery richness to the dish, complemented by crisp whitebait, candied nuts and fresh greens. A house-made plum dressing ties everything together with gentle sweet-tangy notes, creating a meaningful start to the meal that symbolises renewal and shared joy.
Available for both dine-in and takeaway, the Yu Sheng can be customised with auspicious add-ons such as Jade Tiger Abalone, marinated jellyfish head or vegetarian bak kwa—perfect for tailoring the experience to each gathering.

Reunion dining continues with five handcrafted set menus for lunch and dinner, served in the restaurant’s stylish main hall or its intimate private dining suites overlooking the city skyline. Each menu opens with Yu Sheng before moving into comforting soups like Double-Boiled Three Treasures Soup or the deeply nourishing Buddha Jumps Over The Wall.
From there, the courses unfold with quiet elegance. Highlights include delicately steamed South Patagonian toothfish, wok-fried Australian king scallops with sea cucumber, and a show-stopping claypot-baked jasmine rice infused with king crab, matsutake mushrooms and truffle—finished tableside with a dramatic brandy flambé.
Vegetarian diners are equally considered, with a dedicated six-course menu that mirrors the same care and harmony, featuring a vegetarian-friendly Yu Sheng, superior broth and the restaurant’s signature Mapo Tofu.
For smaller or more casual gatherings, seasonal à la carte dishes offer comforting indulgence—from poached spotted grouper in superior fish broth to imperial-style free-range chicken and luxurious stir-fried Maine lobster with Jade Tiger abalone. Lunch guests can also enjoy handcrafted dim sum, including truffle dumplings, crispy lobster rolls and golden abalone puff pastries.
Desserts round off the meal on a refreshing note, with light options such as chilled sago cream with guava or coconut jelly served in a fresh coconut husk.

For those hosting at home, 5 ON 25’s Pen Cai makes for an impressive centrepiece. Slow-braised for eight hours, the claypot is filled with twelve auspicious ingredients—from six-head abalone and fish maw to king scallops, tiger prawns and roasted meats—symbolising abundance and unity. Thoughtfully presented in a reusable claypot, it’s designed for easy reheating and effortless hosting.
Sweet festive treats complete the season, with new additions such as the Fortune Chocolate Set, a fragrant Black Tea Chocolate Bar, and halal-certified, vegetarian-friendly Red Velvet Cookies. Returning favourites, including the Thirteen Wonders Mahjong Chocolate Set, add a playful and generous touch to gifting.
5 ON 25 is open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For restaurant reservations and takeaway orders, call + 65 6408 1228 or visit https://www.hyatt.com/andaz/sinaz-andaz-singapore/dining/5-on-25.
