The Singapore Men’s National Team will continue their structured preparations on the Road to Riyadh with two international friendlies around the June FIFA international window.
The Lions will take on Mongolia on Sunday, 31 May, before facing China PR on Friday, 5 June, with both matches kicking off at 7.30pm at Jalan Besar Stadium.
Tickets for both matches will be available for purchase from Monday, 11 May 2026, 11am, via Ticketek and the Football Association of Singapore’s (FAS) official website (https://fas.org.sg/tickets).
Prices are set at $25 for Category 1, $20 for Category 2 and $15 for Category 3. Away fans will be seated exclusively at the East Gallery Stand, with tickets priced at $25.
Fans who wish to attend both matches can take advantage of special ticket bundles, which include one ticket to each match within the same category. The Category 2 bundle is priced at $36 and the Category 3 bundle at $27.
Having secured qualification for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 2027 Finals in Saudi Arabia, following an unbeaten campaign, Head Coach Gavin Lee’s side will now focus on building momentum and sharpening performances against varied opposition.
The matches will help the Lions prepare for both the continental showpiece in Riyadh and the ASEAN Championship Hyundai Cup 2026 set to take place in July and August.
The Lions are drawn with Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and the winner of the qualifier between Timor-Leste and Brunei Darussalam for the ASEAN Championship Hyundai Cup. The draw for the AFC Asian Cup is scheduled to take place on 9 May.
The Mongolia fixture will serve as a lead-in to the June FIFA international window, while the match against China PR falls within the window and provides a strong test against a top 100-ranked opposition.
The matches will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium, allowing the Lions to acclimatise to the venue ahead of the ASEAN Championship Hyundai Cup, which will also take place there.
Currently ranked 147th in the FIFA World Rankings, Singapore will face contrasting challenges across the two fixtures, with Mongolia ranked 187th and China PR ranked 94th.
“As part of our Asian Cup planning and preparations, we wanted to be challenged by stronger teams to push us out of our comfort zones. The match against China will give us a valuable opportunity to deal with the discomfort and remain clear with our thinking despite the overload. This will support our plans to build towards the level required for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027,” said Lee.
“Every international window is important for us. We want to maximise the time we have together and continue progressing as a group.”
