If your next Orchard Road outing could use a sushi break, there’s a new spot to add to the itinerary. SUSHIRO is opening its newest Singapore outlet at Orchard Gateway on 21 August 2026, bringing its signature conveyor belt sushi experience to one of the city’s busiest shopping and lifestyle districts. Located at #B1-07/08, Orchard Gateway, and directly connected to Somerset MRT station, the new outlet is conveniently placed for shoppers, office workers, students and anyone looking to refuel between stops along Orchard Road.
It will also be SUSHIRO’s 24th outlet in Singapore, continuing the Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain’s rapid expansion across the island.

There’s something particularly fitting about having a conveyor belt sushi restaurant right in the middle of Orchard Road. Whether you’re taking a break from retail therapy, meeting friends after work or looking for a casual dinner before heading home, SUSHIRO Orchard Gateway is designed to slot easily into the rhythm of the neighbourhood.
As with its other Singapore outlets, diners can choose from more than 100 varieties of sushi and side dishes, with fresh seafood and carefully selected ingredients prepared in SUSHIRO’s signature style.
And for those who like a little variety at the table, the conveyor belt format makes it particularly easy to pick and choose as you go — whether that means sticking to your usual favourites or trying something new on a whim.

The opening celebrations are perhaps the biggest reason to make a trip down early.
From 21 August to 3 September, SUSHIRO Orchard Gateway will run a rotating 1-for-1 sushi promotion, with a different favourite taking the spotlight every few days.
Here’s the lineup to look out for:
- 21–23 August: Bluefin Fatty Tuna — S$4.90++
- 24–25 August: Big Red Shrimp — S$2.30++
- 26–27 August: Big Cut Fresh Salmon — S$2.90++
- 28–30 August: Marinated Uni Wrap — S$3.90++
- 31 August–1 September: Medium Fatty Tuna — S$3.90++
- 2–3 September: Aburi Soy Sauce Engawa — S$2.30++
The 1-for-1 items will be served together on the same plate, making these specials particularly handy for sharing — or simply ordering an extra plate for yourself.

If you’re heading down after work, there are also drink specials to pair with your sushi.
Throughout the opening promotion period, Lemon Sour, Premium Malts and Kaku Highball will each be available for S$6++. That’s S$6++ for a Lemon Sour, compared with its usual S$8++, while Premium Malts and Kaku Highball are also offered at S$6++, down from S$10.50++ and S$9++ respectively.
In other words, it could be a good excuse to turn a quick sushi stop into an impromptu after-work catch-up.

Opening day comes with one more reason to visit early. On 21 August, diners who spend a minimum of S$50 in a single receipt will get one chance to Spin the Wheel, with prizes ranging from SUSHIRO dining vouchers and exclusive merchandise to other rewards. The promotion is available while stocks last, with terms and conditions applying.
So if you’re already planning a shopping trip around Orchard on opening day, you might as well leave some room in the itinerary for sushi — and a little bit of luck.
With its central Somerset location, two weeks of 1-for-1 sushi specials and opening-day Spin the Wheel activity, SUSHIRO Orchard Gateway looks set to become a convenient new stop for everything from quick lunches and shopping breaks to casual dinners and after-work drinks.
