F1 Season 2026: Temper Wine Room & Lounge ignites Grand Prix Season Singapore with Feel The Speed

Grand Prix Season Singapore is about more than what happens on the track. For a week and a half, the city becomes a playground of late nights, good food, great music and, of course, plenty of reasons to raise a glass.

This year, Temper Wine Room & Lounge is getting into the spirit with Feel The Speed, a multi-sensory programme running from 2 to 11 October 2026 that brings together fine wines, food, cocktails and music under one roof.

Located at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, the 4,000 sq ft wine room and cocktail lounge is taking a slightly different approach to race-week revelry. Rather than simply putting on another watch party, Temper has created four distinct experiences inspired by the anticipation, precision and energy of Formula 1 — ranging from Grand Cru wine flights and a five-chef dinner to late-night sets by some of the city’s most exciting DJs.

Whether your ideal race week involves discovering a rare bottle, settling in for a leisurely dinner or dancing until late, there is something on the programme to suit the mood.

The festivities begin on 2 and 3 October with Grand Prix: Grand Cru, a two-night celebration of exceptional wines curated by Master Sommelier Roberto Durán. Guests can choose from three tasting flights, each featuring three 125ml pours: one sparkling, one white and one red. The three tiers — P3, P2 and P1 — range from S$138++ to S$328++, with the selections becoming increasingly rare and collectible.

Among the highlights are the 2016 Château Qvintus Grand Cru, 2021 Clos de La Roche Grand Cru from Domaine Didier Amiot, and, for those looking to go all out, the 2016 Louis Roederer Cristal Brut. The experience won’t be limited to what’s in the glass. Local DJs Heavyitch, Titus, Ramesh, Hookstyle, Brendon P and KFC will soundtrack the evenings on vinyl, creating a setting where dinner, wine and music flow together.

For food lovers, Ignition on 5 and 6 October turns Formula 1’s global circuit into a five-course culinary journey. Priced at S$128++, the dinner brings together five chefs from the Ebb & Flow Group family, with each chef interpreting the flavours and character of a different Grand Prix destination.

The journey begins in Jeddah with Chef Anas Shami’s Mediterranean-Levantine dips and house-made sesame ka’ak, before moving to Suzuka with Chef Alvin Leong of Firebird’s grilled chicken thigh with aka miso, eggplant and shiso.

Next comes Singapore’s own Marina Bay, interpreted by Chef Nicolas Tam of Willow and Temper through Josper-grilled squid with sambal butter and red onion salad.

Chef Antonio Miscellaneo of La Bottega Enoteca and Casa Vostra then takes diners to Monza with tagliatelle, ossobuco ragù and gremolata, before Chef Carlos Montobbio of Esquina and Carlitos brings the journey to Barcelona-Catalunya with crema Catalana, hazelnut ice cream and cocoa Montmeló tuile.

For those who want to take the wine journey further, Durán has also created three optional pairing experiences: Pole Position at S$98++, Race at S$148++ and Victory Lap at S$300++.

The regular Temper dinner menu will also remain available on both evenings, making Ignition an option for those who want to join the race-week atmosphere without committing to the full tasting journey.

By 8 October, the programme moves from the dining room to the dance floor. Overdrive brings together DJ PRAV and violinist SPADEZ for a late-night set beginning at 8.30pm, combining golden-era hip-hop and R&B with live violin.

PRAV, who runs .WAV(Y), moves between hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Amapiano and future beats, having taken his sound to stages in Amsterdam, New Delhi and Melbourne and performed for brands including adidas, Kenzo and Arsenal FC.

SPADEZ brings an entirely different musical background. The Brooklyn-born, Singapore-based DJ has a classical violin background and has performed at Carnegie Hall alongside Yo-Yo Ma and R&B group 112, as well as holding residencies at bOb Bar in New York and Madison House in Singapore. Together, they promise a set that blends live musicianship with club culture.

The final stop on the Feel The Speed programme is Apex on 10 October, when Temper teams up with Singapore music collective and event curator GrooveTop to welcome London-based DJ Taylah Elaine for her Singapore debut.

Known for moving effortlessly between R&B, hip-hop, dancehall and electronic music, Taylah Elaine has appeared at Boiler Room Festival, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Wireless and Rolling Loud. She will be joined by local hip-hop legend Ollie’Des, who will open the night before Taylah takes over the decks from 10.30pm until late.

It is an appropriately high-energy finale to a programme designed to build momentum throughout race week, starting with an evening of fine wine and finishing on the dance floor. Reserve your table here

Feel The Speed will also extend beyond the four headline experiences. Throughout the programme, from 2 to 11 October, Temper will serve three exclusive race-week cocktails. Green Light combines gin, sencha tea, umeshu and maraschino cherry for a crisp and refreshing start. Night Circuit takes a darker, smokier direction with mezcal, Gonzalez-Byass Pedro Ximenez Dulce Nectar Sherry, orange bitters, saline and citric. And Skyline Engine brings together gin, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, Lillet Blanc, egg white and orange blossom water, finished with lime juice and prosecco for a bright, celebratory serve.

There is also a little competition for guests who would rather keep their racing on the track. During Feel The Speed, diners can take part in Podium Pick, predicting who they think will finish P1, P2 and P3 at the Singapore Grand Prix. The prizes are suitably celebratory. First place wins S$300 in Temper dining vouchers, a limited-edition bottle of NV Trento Blanc de Blancs Brut Jeroboam, a set of two SKLO wine glasses and a Temper wine sleeve.

Second place takes home S$200 in Temper dining vouchers, a 375ml bottle of Clase Azul Reposado, two SKLO wine glasses and a Temper wine sleeve, while third place receives S$100 in Temper dining vouchers, two SKLO wine glasses and a Temper wine sleeve. Guests simply need to dine at Temper between 2 and 11 October, submit their podium prediction before race day and wait to see how their instincts fare.

Temper’s Feel The Speed programme is ultimately about experiencing the peak of dinner and nightlife in one place. Its wine programme, led by Roberto Durán MS, is anchored by a custom-built cellar of more than 2,100 bottles, featuring over 1,500 labels from more than 30 countries, with more than 250 available by the glass. Add a food programme led by Executive Chef Nicolas Tam and Head Chef Ronald Sim, cocktails created by award-winning consulting bartender June Baek and Head Bartender Kishan Kumar, and a music programme curated by nightlife and culture veteran Joshua Pillai, and the setting is designed to move naturally from dinner into the night.

For Grand Prix Season Singapore, that makes Temper an appealing alternative to the usual race-week formula: come for the wine, stay for dinner, and perhaps find yourself still there when the music gets louder. After all, the best race-week memories don’t always happen at the finish line.
