A new season calls for a new look, and for Lion City Sailors, the latest jerseys are designed to tell the story of where the club has been, and where it intends to go next. adidas and Lion City Sailors (LCS) have unveiled the club’s new 2026/27 Home and Away kits, marking the second year of their three-year partnership and giving supporters a fresh way to wear the colours of one of Singapore football’s most successful clubs.
Launched on 2 September 2026, the new collection takes its inspiration from “The Sailors’ Journey”, a narrative built around navigating changing tides, weathering storms and steering towards greatness. It is a fitting theme for a club that, since its inception in 2020, has rapidly established itself as a dominant force in Singapore football. And while the new jerseys are designed with performance firmly in mind, there is plenty here for supporters to get excited about too.

For the new season, the Home kit takes a more refined approach. Built around a predominantly white design, subtle stripes run across the fabric as a nod to the club’s nautical identity. The result is clean, understated and suitably prestigious, allowing the Lion City Sailors crest, and the players wearing it, to take centre stage.
The Away kit, meanwhile, takes a bolder route. An oceanic blue base sets the tone, while rippling wave patterns sweep across the chest to represent movement, momentum and the unpredictability of the waters. Gold accents appear on the crest and sail motifs, adding another reference to the club’s name and spirit.
Together, the two jerseys offer different expressions of the same idea: a club that knows where it has come from, but remains determined to keep moving forward.

The visual story may be inspired by the sea, but the technology behind the jerseys is built for Singapore’s very different kind of heat. Both kits feature adidas AEROREADY technology, which is engineered to manage moisture and help players stay dry and comfortable during training and matches. Side mesh inserts provide additional airflow, an important consideration for football played in Singapore’s tropical climate.
For the Sailors, the performance technology is already familiar territory. Hariss Harun, captain of the Lion City Sailors said: “Having played a full season in the 2025/26 kit and lifted the championship trophy while wearing it, the team is excited to wear the new 2026/27 kit on the pitch. The adidas AEROREADY technology has kept up with the demands of our training and matches, keeping us cool even in Singapore’s tropical climate. Knowing that we are wearing the same calibre of kit worn at the highest levels of the sport gives us real confidence to push ourselves on the pitch.”

The new kits also mark the beginning of the second year of adidas and LCS’ partnership, and this time, the ambition extends beyond what happens on the pitch. A key focus for Year Two will be bringing supporters closer to the club through new fan and community engagement initiatives. These are expected to include matchday experiences and community programmes, with more details set to be announced in the coming months.
Chen Ruiyuan, Country Manager of adidas Singapore, said: “We are proud to be entering year two of our partnership with Lion City Sailors. This season, we want to put the fans and community at the heart of our partnership, creating more opportunities to experience the game beyond the pitch, from fresh fanwear designs and access to meaningful moments that bring the Sailors and their supporters closer together. We are also committed to supporting the next generation of football through LCS’ youth ecosystem, combining their expertise in youth development with adidas’ football and product knowledge to create meaningful opportunities for young players to learn, develop and experience the game.”
That focus on supporters extends into the new fanwear collection, which introduces two fresh T-shirt designs inspired by the Sailors’ story and the fans who continue to follow them.

The Ole Allez Allez Tee brings one of the club’s most recognisable chants into the world of fanwear. Look closely and the design reveals details from the Sailors’ matchday universe, including club mascot Helix, the Training Centre and Aisyah from the Crew — along with a hidden Helix signature tucked away on one of the lockers.
The Varsity Tee, meanwhile, gives Helix a new look through a bold collegiate-inspired design. With its classic varsity aesthetic and unmistakable Sailors character, it is intended to work just as well away from the stadium as it does on matchday.
It is a small but telling shift in how football merchandise is becoming part of everyday fan culture: these are pieces designed not simply to support the team during a match, but to carry a little bit of the club into everyday life.

There is plenty of momentum behind the new collection. During the 2024/25 season, Lion City Sailors completed a domestic clean sweep that included the Community Shield. They also became the first Singaporean club to reach the final of a major Asian club competition, the AFC Champions League Two.
The success continued as the Sailors retained both the Singapore Premier League and Singapore Cup titles for a second consecutive season. That recent run of silverware gives the 2026/27 collection an added significance. The jerseys are not simply a reset for a new campaign; they arrive at a time when expectations around the club are higher than ever.
The challenge now is to keep that momentum going, domestically and on the continental stage, with a new season offering another opportunity to add to the club’s growing list of achievements.

The 2026/27 Home and Away kits are available in men’s and women’s sizes, starting from $99 for adults, with both short- and long-sleeve options available. Kids’ sizes start at $75, while the new fanwear T-shirts retail at $59.
There is also an added incentive for early supporters. The first 100 adiClub members who purchase a jersey at participating adidas stores will receive a complimentary Singapore Premier League Champions Badge, available via heat press in stores, while stocks last.
The kits are available through selected adidas retail stores, the adidas app, the official adidas and LCS Shopee store, Weston, stadiums on match days, and selected retail partners and concept stores islandwide. For those after the long-sleeve versions, these will be exclusive to adidas and Weston stores, while the new fanwear pieces will be available exclusively at adidas stores.
With more exclusive designs promised in the seasons ahead, the Sailors’ journey, at least from a fashion perspective, is only just getting started.
