One year in, The St. Regis Bar Singapore is celebrating the best way a cocktail bar knows how: by inviting some of Asia’s most exciting bartenders behind the bar. Throughout September, the bar will mark its first anniversary with a month-long programme of international guest shifts, bringing acclaimed bartenders from Jakarta, Macao, Bangkok, the Philippines and Taiwan to Singapore for a series of one-night-only collaborations.

Expect signature cocktails, guest appearances, DJ sets and plenty of cross-border bar culture — culminating in a special anniversary edition of Jack’s Club on Friday, 25 September 2026.

Since opening in 2025, The St. Regis Bar Singapore has carved out its own identity as a contemporary interpretation of the brand’s New York heritage, blending the glamour of Manhattan with the character of Singapore. Its first anniversary continues that spirit, bringing together different approaches to cocktails, hospitality and the cultures that shape Asia’s increasingly influential bar scene.

The celebrations begin on Wednesday, 2 September, with a St. Regis Bar family guest shift featuring Paulo Laihee Naranjo, Director of Bar and Beverage of The St. Regis Jakarta, and Kevin Lai, Head Mixologist of The St. Regis Bar Macao.

Naranjo’s Jakarta bar was ranked No. 22 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, while Lai’s The St. Regis Bar Macao was recognised at No. 45 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026. From 8pm to 11pm, the pair will take over The St. Regis Bar Singapore with signature cocktails inspired by their respective destinations, offering guests a taste of two different perspectives from within the St. Regis bar family.

The following week, on Wednesday, 9 September, the programme takes a nostalgic turn. Philip Bischoff, Beverage Ambassador of BKK Social Club, ranked No. 20 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and No. 49 on World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, reunites with Gabriel Martin Carlos, Co-Founder of The Basement Cebu, for a special collaboration.

The pair previously worked together at Manhattan Bar Singapore, a formative chapter in their careers — and one that coincided with Singapore’s emergence as one of Asia’s leading cocktail destinations. Their guest shift promises to revisit that shared history through a selection of cocktails inspired by their time together.

Then, on Wednesday, 16 September, the spotlight moves to Taiwan. Rossell Hu, Founder of Kohaku in Tainan and the 2026 Woodford Reserve The Wonderful Race Taiwan Champion, will take over The St. Regis Bar with cocktails inspired by Kohaku’s distinctive approach to sensory storytelling.

His drinks draw together tea, coffee, herbs, flowers and music, weaving these elements into an experience shaped by Tainan’s rich cultural identity and minimalist Japanese aesthetics. It is the kind of collaboration that goes beyond simply swapping cocktail menus: each guest shift offers a glimpse into the people, places and creative traditions influencing the region’s drinking culture.

The month-long celebration reaches its finale on Friday, 25 September, when The St. Regis Bar’s much-loved Jack’s Club gets an anniversary makeover. Held from 8pm until late, Jack’s Club is inspired by the glamour of New York’s historic jazz and cabaret scene. For one evening, The St. Regis Bar transforms into an intimate cabaret-style setting, complete with live music, Prohibition-era themed cocktails and the brand’s signature celebratory rituals.

For the anniversary edition, guests can expect live performances by Myra Vaughan and DJ RED, alongside a champagne sabrage and an alcohol-infused anniversary cake presented with sparklers. In other words, this is less a quiet birthday toast and more a proper St. Regis celebration.

There is something fitting about marking a bar’s first year by looking outward. The St. Regis Bar Singapore was conceived as a meeting point between the brand’s historic New York spirit and Singapore’s own cosmopolitan character. Bringing bartenders from across Asia into the space for its anniversary reinforces that idea, turning one bar into a temporary crossroads for different cocktail cultures.

Over four weeks, guests can move from Jakarta and Macao to Bangkok, Cebu and Tainan without leaving Tanglin, discovering different philosophies of drinks, hospitality and storytelling along the way. And with Singapore’s cocktail scene continuing to attract international attention, the anniversary programme feels like a celebration not only of The St. Regis Bar Singapore’s first year, but of the wider community it has become part of.
