MOGĀ, the modern Japanese izakaya bar in Pullman Singapore Hill Street, announces a phenomenal lineup of Asian guest shifts as it celebrates its first anniversary this November. Beginning Friday, November 1, 2024, Seoul-based bar Alice Cheongdam will launch a series of guest shifts, with new guest shifts featured every Monday throughout the month.
The month-long celebration not only highlights the highly anticipated regional bars set in major Asian cities but also provides cocktail enthusiasts with unique opportunities to enjoy exceptional talents and sips in a luxurious and atmospheric setting.
Gavin Teverasan, Bar Manager at MOGĀ, shares, “We’re looking forward to bringing some very interesting bars to Singapore. These five establishments each have distinct approaches to drink-making, and I am excited for them to showcase a wide variety of cocktails from across Asia to the local crowd”.
The guest shifts happening can be found below:

1 Nov: Alice Cheongdam (Seoul)
Hidden in a flower shop, Alice Cheongdam is a speakeasy named after Lewis Carroll’s titular work Alice in Wonderland and most recently achieved #46 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. In this basement lounge, guests can expect eclectic, theatrical cocktails crafted with cutting-edge techniques.
4 Nov: The Cocktail Club (Jakarta)
Since opening in 2021, TCC has gone from strength to strength, solidifying itself with a #12 spot on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 as the Best Bar in Indonesia, following its Best Cocktail Menu win in 2023. The bar is known for its innovative cocktails that feature locally familiar flavours—think cincau(grass jelly), Redondo fruit, and cap tikus (a traditional liquor)—and will be represented by industry icon Kiki Moka, founder and the first Diageo World Class Indonesia winner.

11 Nov: Coley (Kuala Lumpur)
A stalwart of the Malaysian bar industry, Coley was named after the legendary Ada Coleman of The Savoy. One of the first proponents of craft spirits in Malaysia when it first opened as a pop-up in 2014, it won Best Bar in Malaysia and has firmly remained one of the top gin-focused bars in the country.
18 Nov: Carrots (Jakarta)
Carrots is an intimate cocktail bar, juxtaposed with its location in a quiet basement amid the Sudirman Central Business District, one of the densest areas of Jakarta. They’re known for rotating selections of contemporary, culinary-driven tipples and creative flair.

25 Nov: Bar Lonely (Tainan)
Hailing from the southern Taiwanese city of Tainan, Bar Lonely highlights East Asian teas in their signature drinks, from ubiquitous varietals such as Oolong and Jasmine to enthusiast favourites like Biluochun and Wenshan Baozhong. They also work with local distilleries to make their liquors, such as the Lonely Amaro featuring osmanthus.
November Promotion
In conjunction with these shifts, MOGĀ will offer three cocktails in a 1-for-1 deal ($24++ for two) in November from 6 pm onwards, provided guests upload a post on their social media accounts with the hashtags #MOGASingapore #MOGA1stBirthdayBash. Highlighting Japanese ingredients, Spicy Man features a mango togarashi mix, Yuzu Crazy features yuzu sake, and the Do It For My Sake is a Japanese riff on the Dirty Martini, combining sake and shochu with housemade pickles. The promotion will not be available during the guest shift days: 1, 4, 11, 18, 25 November.
