Forget the usual beer hall. This September, Oktoberfest is getting a distinctly tropical twist as Resorts World Sentosa brings the spirit of Bavaria to Adventure Cove Waterpark for two nights of food, music, games and festive revelry.

On 25 and 26 September 2026, after the waterpark closes for the day, Adventure Cove will transform into a lively Bavarian-inspired festival ground from 6.30pm to 9pm, complete with free-flow food, live entertainment, traditional games and plenty of opportunities to raise a stein and say, “Prost!”

At the centre of the celebrations is The Grand Bier Hall, where guests can settle in for a hearty free-flow buffet of Bavarian-inspired specialities while live music and interactive entertainment keep the atmosphere lively. There is plenty to do between bites, too. Guests can challenge friends to darts and beer pong, join the evening’s sing-alongs or test their competitive spirit in The Great Bavarian Challenge.

Traditional Oktoberfest-inspired contests include the Stein Hoisting Challenge and Beer Drinking Challenge, putting strength, stamina and speed to the test. In other words, come hungry, and perhaps prepare for a little friendly rivalry.

The festivities extend throughout the waterpark, with Festival Square offering a mix of hands-on activities and games. Guests can try their hand at pretzel decorating workshops, learn more about beer at Brewer’s Corner during educational beer appreciation sessions, or take on King of Hammer, where participants swing a mallet onto a target to see just how much strength they can muster. There will also be Bavarian-inspired photo opportunities, making it easy to capture a few suitably festive moments along the way.

As the evening progresses, the party moves poolside. At Beer Beats by the Pool, live entertainment, DJs and stage performances bring an energetic soundtrack to the festivities, adding a contemporary edge to the traditional Oktoberfest atmosphere. The night wraps up with a closing toast and parade, gathering everyone together for one final celebratory “Prost!” before the waterpark winds down for the evening.

For anyone looking to do Oktoberfest a little differently this year, there is something rather appealing about swapping the traditional beer tent for a waterpark after dark; Bavarian food in hand, music in the air and the pool providing an unexpected backdrop to the festivities.
