Travel: Klook Travel Fest Returns to Singapore with a Flee Market of Travel Experiences and Exclusive Deals

The two-day festival at Suntec City invites visitors to explore destination-inspired activities, discover new itineraries and score travel deals for their next getaway.

Planning a holiday is often half the fun of travelling. It might begin with stumbling upon a neighbourhood food market on social media, discovering a hidden attraction through a friend’s recommendation or coming across an experience that makes an unfamiliar destination suddenly feel irresistible.

This October, travellers can get a taste of their next adventure without leaving Singapore, as Klook Travel Fest returns for its fifth edition with a new concept designed to bring the spirit of travel discovery to life.

Taking place on 17 and 18 October 2026 at Suntec City, Atrium (Tower 1 and 2), the two-day event introduces the Klook Flee Market, a travel experience marketplace inspired by the local markets and bazaars that often become memorable stops on holiday. Visitors can browse destination-inspired zones, take part in interactive activities, explore travel itineraries and discover exclusive deals to turn their holiday ideas into reality.

After a one-year hiatus, the festival is expected to welcome approximately 20,000 visitors, bringing together travel inspiration, hands-on experiences and promotions under one roof. “There is no one way to travel, and the excitement of a trip often begins well before we arrive at our destination,” said Sarah Wan, General Manager, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, Klook. “With Klook Travel Fest, we want to bring that sense of discovery to life by giving travellers different ways to explore new destinations, experience a taste of what they have to offer and find inspiration for their next adventure. By bringing these experiences together, we hope to help every traveller discover and plan a trip that feels right for them, while making it easier to turn that inspiration into their next getaway.”

The festival’s four destination zones offer different ways to explore potential holiday destinations, whether visitors are looking for cultural experiences, family-friendly activities, food-inspired discoveries or ideas for a quick regional getaway.

In the Let’s Go Japan zone, a seafood market-inspired display presents regional itineraries alongside lifelike seafood replicas, offering inspiration for travellers keen to explore different parts of the country. Visitors can also take part in the “Klook It” Challenge, created in collaboration with Sony, which tests their listening skills using Sony’s noise-cancelling headphones. Participants must guess how many times the phrase “Klook It” appears in an original jingle by Singaporean artist Benjamin Kheng.

Over at Discover China, visitors can pose beside a larger-than-life hotpot installation filled with foam and plush versions of familiar ingredients, or try on hanfu for a photo at a lantern-themed spot. Those planning a trip to China can also consult a Klook China expert to build a personalised itinerary around their interests and preferred travel style. Visitors who make an eligible Klook booking during the festival can receive a complimentary photo strip, subject to the stated exclusions.

Closer to home, the Welcome to Southeast Asia zone takes inspiration from holiday souvenir shops, presenting regional itineraries as postcards for visitors to browse. Interactive games offer a playful introduction to Vietnam, including a challenge involving steering a cable car towards Ba Na Hills and a beanbag toss across a map of the country.

Meanwhile, the G’Day! Australia zone draws on the atmosphere of a farmers’ market, with produce-inspired displays, destination deals and itinerary ideas for those considering an Australian getaway. Visitors can also browse bucket-list road trips and redeem a cup of Robert Timms coffee after completing the Klook Travel Fest Passport.

The digital stamp rally rewards visitors for completing challenges across the different zones, with additional digital voucher codes for a free McDonald’s treat and a complimentary one-hour regular bike ride from HelloRide, courtesy of the festival’s partnership with youth-led venture GTG (Go Touch Grass).

Beyond the destination zones, the festival will feature cultural workshops, interactive challenges, performances and travel talks by Klook Kreators throughout the weekend. Highlights include The Intan’s Little Hands, Big Colors: Peranakan Tile Experience on 17 October, alongside a cyanotype print-making workshop by Arterly Obsessed. Visitors can also look out for games, performances and sharing sessions offering further inspiration for future trips.

The emphasis on participation reflects a broader approach to travel planning, where discovering what a destination has to offer can be just as important as deciding when and where to go. According to Klook’s Travel Pulse 2026, 42% of Singapore respondents consider the experiences they want to have alongside factors such as budget and travel dates when deciding on a destination.

For travellers keeping a close eye on their holiday spending, the festival will offer more than S$300 in potential savings, alongside destination promotions, flash deals and lucky draws. Klook’s Travel Pulse 2026 found that 71% of Singapore respondents cited financial concerns as their biggest barrier to travel, although eight in 10 said they would continue travelling. The survey also found that 47% look for travel deals and discounts, while 46% take advantage of early-bird pricing by booking ahead to secure better rates.

At Klook Travel Fest, visitors can look forward to an event-exclusive S$12 offer when paying with a DBS yuu Card, additional discounts for students and Gen X travellers, and destination deals for Japan, China and Vietnam. Selected attractions will offer buy-one-get-one promotions, including Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland and Universal Studios in Japan and Beijing.

Lucky draw prizes worth up to S$30,000, including one million yuu Points and other prizes, will add another incentive to explore the festival. Flash deals and other promotions will run throughout the weekend, with availability and terms subject to the respective offers.

The festival will also bring together destination organisations, travel operators and lifestyle brands, including Jeju Tourism Organization, Japan National Tourism, StarDream Cruises, Sun World, Shopee, Sony and Yeo’s.

Together, the partners contribute to a broader festival experience that combines destination discovery with activities, interactive displays and special offers.

For those looking for fresh holiday inspiration or hoping to make their next trip go a little further, Klook Travel Fest offers an opportunity to explore new possibilities, compare experiences and plan a getaway in one place.
