At MO BAR Singapore, cocktails have always been more than drinks. They are stories in a glass — reflections of the city’s culture, flavours, and creative pulse. With the launch of Vol. 7: Modern Localism – The City of Art, the award-winning bar invites guests to experience Singapore through a sensorial journey inspired by the people and spaces shaping its artistic landscape.
Unveiled on 24 February 2026, the latest chapter of MO BAR’s Modern Localism series introduces 15 imaginative cocktails that explore Singapore’s creative spirit through collaborations with local artisans and brands. Rather than focusing on categories or cocktail styles, the menu follows the rhythm of a day spent wandering through the city, from morning rituals to late-night revelry.

“Modern Localism Vol. 7 isn’t about representing categories or disciplines,” says Kim Jung Hoo, Assistant Bar Manager at MO BAR Singapore. “It reflects how we experience Singapore — starting with morning rituals, moving through the city’s cultural spaces, discovering local artisans, and eventually winding down at MO BAR.”
The menu features 11 collaborators spanning industries such as perfumery, design, gastronomy and music — each selected for their craft, heritage, and the stories behind their work.

The experience begins with drinks inspired by the rituals that start the day. Sifr Fizz is a fragrant highball created with Sifr Aromatics, incorporating essential oil hydrosol, elderflower and saffron — a nod to the heritage perfumery’s aromatic legacy.

Art enters the picture with Forest Fire, a smoky cocktail inspired by Raden Saleh’s Boschbrand painting at the National Gallery Singapore. The drink blends Monkey Shoulder whisky, Los Siete Misterios mezcal, and a spiced amaro infused with nutmeg and clove.

Self-care rituals take centre stage with Velour Kiss, developed with Singaporean skin management brand La Dermalogique. Gin is layered with chamomile, bee pollen and extra virgin olive oil, evoking the comforting calm of daily skincare routines.

For non-drinkers, The Artis offers a thoughtful alcohol-free option created with Hans Tan Studio. Made with fermented banana tibicos, pandan and coconut salt, the drink can also be served with vodka for those who prefer a spirited version.

As the day unfolds, the menu transitions into tea-time indulgences and café-inspired moments. Bukit Kemas, created with jewellery brand Forbidden Hill, channels vintage elegance with Ryukyu Baijiu, Lillet Blanc and roasted corn, finished with a custom garnish.

Coffee culture is celebrated in Kopi Pumptini, a Singapore-style twist on the Espresso Martini created with Bettr Barista. The drink combines Kopi O with roasted barley bourbon and a touch of pumpkin for a warm, toasty finish.

Dessert arrives in two playful forms. B.T.B (Bean to Bar), created with Lemuel Chocolate, blends bourbon and cacao nibs kombucha for a bright and earthy sip that’s also available alcohol-free.

Meanwhile, Dopa? Dopa!, a collaboration with Dopa Dopa Creamery, leans into indulgence with salted caramel V.S.O.P., black tea and pistachio kunafa topped with a creamy finish.

As evening falls, the drinks reflect Singapore’s vibrant nightlife. Reclaimed Sling 3.0, a refined evolution of the Singapore Sling first introduced in 2025, returns with No.3 Gin for a crisp and distinctly local character.

The menu also explores cross-cultural flavour through Jo-hwa (和諧), created with modern Korean restaurant ANJU. Matsutake mushroom-infused gin meets fino sherry, verjuice and pear, resulting in a layered drink balancing umami and fruit.

Music and nightlife come alive with Jukuleles, named after MO BAR’s resident band. Mezcal, yuzu marmalade, tulsi and bitters combine in a tropical highball designed for easy drinking.

The final pour, Pine-Dustry, honours Singapore’s bartending community. Tequila, white wine reduction and coconut are served alongside a pineapple tart — a playful nod to the industry that keeps the city’s nights moving.
Alongside the new creations, several enduring house favourites remain on the menu.
- Mandarin Martini – a refined classic featuring MO BAR Edition No.1 Gin, Noilly Prat Dry, mandarin bitters and caper berry.
- M.O. Whiskey Sour – Angel’s Envy bourbon mixed with Mandarin Oriental’s “Exceptionally Singapore” tea and topped with a soft meringue foam.
- Oriental Heritage – a bold spirit-forward serve combining Macallan Double Cask 12 and Hennessy XO with osmanthus, devilwood and pimento dram.
With Vol. 7 Modern Localism, MO BAR transforms its menu into a narrative, a “notebook in motion” told through the lens of a wandering journalist exploring Singapore. Each cocktail becomes a page from that journey, capturing impressions, encounters and flavours discovered along the way. The result is a menu that doesn’t just showcase mixology, but also celebrates the city’s vibrant creative community.
